This post may be untimely since it has been more than two weeks since the Holy Week has ended. However, the featured place in this post is a sanctuary that is perfect all year round. The Carmelite Monastery in Sitio Tuatua, Barangay Matiao, City of Mati, Davao Oriental so far is the most peaceful and beautiful Carmelite structure I ever visited.
The Carmelite Church
Before you get the front side of the church you'll get to see a hanging bridge connecting the church main area to the other side of the monastery landscape: a tableau representing the different mysteries of the rosary.

The area in front of the church is also a sight to behold. The spacious area (used for driveway and parking) is surrounded by large trees and carefully crafted landscape and horticulture. The church in itself is also worthy to be visited, and most importantly, a great place to worship our Lord Jesus Christ.
